Let Your Spirit Shine One Day Yoga Retreat

March 26, 2014 //  by Hope

Lotus FlowerSaturday, May 10, 2014  —  9:00 am – 5:00 pm

A one day retreat is an opportunity to be transported, awakened, and transformed. It is a precious period of time devoted to the purpose of rejuvenation and inner discovery. Come cultivate a space that will lead you toward insights, personal breakthroughs, and assimilation of all you have received. The day includes teachings for contemplation, an asana practice, guided meditation, a restorative asana practice, pranayama, and an opportunity for discussion.

Yoga is about opening the heart.  It is about treating ourselves well.  It is about balance.  A one day retreat can help with all three of these leaving you feeling replenished in body, mind, and soul. The great news about a one day retreat is that you don’t need to save up a ton of money or plan in advance to take the week off.  It is a simple way to bring the balance of staying true to your yoga practice and treating yourself to something special without dramatically altering your schedule or life.

This one-day retreat will restore you. Your spirit will start to shine feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.  It is the perfect time to reflect and heal! The day will include:

Asana practice to release stress and open energy pathways

Breathing techniques to purify the respiratory system

Restorative Yoga for assimilation and deep relaxation

A guided relaxation to help the body recalibrate and absorb it’s refreshed state

Discussion about yoga philosophy
